Asan Spavis - Spa and Hot Spring

The Asan Spavis, located in Chungcheongnam Do about an hour outside of Seoul, is a spa and sports treatment facility that uses natural hot springs to heat it’s water. The spa is a family oriented facility that caters to many leisure activities such as outdoor hot springs that can be used in the winter, hot spring huts suitable for families or couples, snow sledding area, sports massage center, skin-care treatment and much more.

Zipline Jeju

Taereung Snow Sledding Field

The Taereung snow field, located in Nowon-Gu Seoul, is a great place to hop onto a tube and slide down the groomed hills while overlooking the Bulamsan Mountains. They charge 9,000 won to rent a tube. They also have a food area where you can purchase refreshments.

Yeongdeok Snow Crab Festival

If you enjoy snow crab, this is a festival for you. Over 100,000 snow crabs are sold at the public auction at discounted prices. Take a ride on a snow crab fishing boat or take part in the snow crab cooking competition. There are free samples of snow crab dishes on offer.

This festival typically takes place in February and March; however, the best time to visit is between March 8th - 12th.

Gwangalli Eobang Festival

The Gwangalli Festival is held in the coastal city of Busan to celebrate the coming of Spring and the ocean. Visitors to the festival can sample all the fresh fish made available, catch fish bare handed or even take part in a cooking competition.
